Let’s make it straight that knowing a CAD software does not make you qualified enough to be a product design engineer.
Designing is not just about knowing few commands and tools available on CAD platform. In industries, as a design engineer, you will never get a 2D drawing to be built as a model. That’s what a draftsman does, not an engineer.
You need to understand that…..
To be able to design a CAD Models is not enough.
Most of us are good designers. But in a broad spectrum, it takes more to be a design engineer.
Before you start designing on any CAD platform, always ask yourself the following question:-
1.What is the product and its applications?
2.How does the product function ?
3.What could be the possible alternatives to this design ?
Because knowing the functionality is very important. That’s what differentiates you from a draftsman…….
Understand the Manufacturing Processes
The designer should be aware of the basic manufacturing processes such as Casting,

Vermicelli is an extruded instant food product made from wheat flour. Other flours
--
Vermicelli is an extruded instant food product made from wheat flour. Other flours like groundnut, soya bean or tapioca are also mix with wheat flour to make it more nutritive. They are easily affordable, tasty and easy to make. This product make in many states of the country.
This dough is passing through extruder. Extrusion is defined as a process in which material is pushed through an orifice or hole of given shape. The pushing force is applied by using a screw encased in a metal barrel, attached to a drive motor. A hopper at one end gives shape to the product. After extruding long rods of vermicelli come out from the extruder with fitted die 0.5 mm to 1.6 mm, which are cuts into the desire length and then placed in the tray drier for drying. Drying temperature is around 55-65 C and time required is 4½ to 5 hours. Darien piece are weighing and packed in attractively food grad printed polythene bag. The weight and process loss is around 10%.

Engine rpm divided by gearbox ratio divided by final gear ratio divided by revolutions per mile (or per kilometer) for tire size time 60 equals miles per hour (kilometer). The 60 converts revolutions per minute to revolutions per hour.
I’ll use my MX-5 as an example to give maximum speed per gear. The tire size is 205/45R17 which gives 831.28 revolutions per mile.
The transmission ratios are: 1st 3.815, 2nd 2.260, 3rd 1.640, 4th 1.177, 5th 1.000, 6th 0.832. The final drive ratio is 4.10. The rpm limiter is set at 6750 rpm.
1st 6750 / 3.815 / 4.1 / 831.28 x 60 = 31.15 miles an hour in 1st at the rev limit.
2nd 6750 / 2.260 / 4.1 / 831.28 x 60 = 52.58 miles an hour in 2nd…
3rd 6750 / 1.640 / 4.1 / 831.28 x 60 = 72.46 miles an hour in third…
4th 6750 / 1.177 / 4.1 / 831.28 x 60 = 100.96 mph…
5th 6750 / 1.000 / 4.1 / 831.28 x 60 = 118.83 mph…
6th 6750 / 0.832 / 4.1 / 831.28 x 60 = 142.82 mph…
The chances of my car being able to hit the rev limit in 6th are slim and none for a stock motor. Most test data says 131 mph. We can go backwards to see what rpm that is.
131 / 60 x 831.28 X 4.1 x 0.832 = 6191 rpm
Automatics are different in that they have variability added on the bottom end by the torque converter and slip on the top end unless they have a converter lock up clutch.
easy peasy

Introduction To Robotics
In this course, you'll get an introduction to your Nanodegree program, and explore the three essential elements of robotics: perception, decision making, and actuation. You'll also build your first project, which is modeled after the NASA Mars Rover Challenge.SEARCH AND SAMPLE RETURN
ROS Essentials
ROS provides a flexible and unified software environment for developing robots in a modular and reusable manner. In this course, you'll learn how to manage existing ROS packages within a project, and how to write ROS Nodes of your own in Python.
Kinematics
Movement is one of the most exciting elements of building a Robot that interacts with the physical world. In this course, you'll learn to control a robotic arm with six degrees of freedom to perform pick and place actions using Inverse Kinematics.
ROBOTIC ARM: PICK AND PLACE
Perception
Robots perceive the world around them by using sensors. Working with sensor data for perception is a core element of robotics. Here you'll work with 3D point cloud data to perform segmentation tasks using techniques like RANSAC and clustering.3D PERCEPTION
Introduction to Term 2
In this course, you’ll get an introduction to Term 2, and explore hardware commonly used in robotics. You’ll learn the uses of common sensors, and which ROS packages you need to support them. Those students with NVIDIA Jetson TX2 Developer Kit hardware will learn how to set up the system and interact with external hardware.Robotic Systems Deployment
In this course, you’ll learn new tools, and the embedded workflow as you move from code on a host system to code on a target system. You’ll work through a familiar problem with these new tools, then extend what you’ve learned in a project.ROBOTIC INFERENCE
Localization
Learn how Gaussian filters can be used to estimate noisy sensor readings, and how to estimate a robot’s pose relative to a known map of the environment with Monte Carlo Localization (MCL).WHERE AM I?
SLAM
Learn how to create a Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) implementation with ROS packages and C++. You’ll achieve this by combining mapping algorithms with what you learned in the localization lessons.MAP MY WORLD ROBOT
Reinforcement Learning for Robotics
Begin by learning how to build a basic end-to-end reinforcement learning agent, termed a deep Q-network (DQN). Then, enhance it to create a more complex agent that can pick and place from visual input.PICK AND PLACE WITH DEEP LEARNING
Path Planning and Navigation
Extend your RL Engine with more advanced techniques for navigation, and compare these with classic approaches. Finally, combine SLAM and navigation into a single comprehensive project!HOME SERVICE ROBOT
