Over 1.75 million Low Speed Electric Vehicles (LSEVs) were sold last year in China. LSEVs are tiny cars, can usually not go faster than 60km/h and are very cheap: starting at €1.000! I interview David Li, the Executive Director of SZOIL Open Innovation Lab in Shenzhen (which is considered the Silicon Valley of hardware in China). What is the range of these cars? How much tech is in these cars? How fast does the market grows? These cars look incredibly amazing, especially for crowded areas! Will we be able to drive them in Europe as well?
