art of completion books if any
---
accomplish more by doing less

---
How do you finish what you start?
Every decision we make has a consequence
---
Coaches from various disciplines will tell you
that good habits are formed with the smallest tasks.
---
We start a workout program,
we last two weeks.
We start a new book;
we dont get past chpater two.
We have a business idea and dont do anything to act on it.
And when someone else comes along with the same idea
we feel jaded as if it were taken from us.
---
=>track daily progress book, word list, project progress
mark it project
---

Here are 3 things to consider if you r in need of breaking the cycle of  incompleteness
1)Consider the cost
Dont make a decision to start something you already know
you cant finish.
Why set yourself up for failure when you can set yourself up for success. You may not able to walk 5 miles a day but may be you can
commit to walking around the block.
Create a realistic goal and achieve it.

2)Be objective
Failure is much easier if we are making emotional decisions.
Every thing we do should have a menaing and inclusieve of
a larger goal
---
go the distance

For every quality decision, there comes a short term and temporary
discomfort.

---
art of completion.

The idea would be to complte your past to be able to come
into the present.
Most people are living their lives in the past or future.
The original idea of a present was Present Tense.
Int he present is the gift, the real one

====
Dont start on a project or activity that you dont care about.
You are bound  to end up  with a incomplete.

ex: marathon, learn new language
dont do it for others
---
The projects you completed were the ones  you believe in.
They mattered to you on  a deeper, emotional level.
---
They gave you a feeling of satisfaction  and accomplishment.
Its not just your mind that has to be in the game,
your hear needs to be all in too.
---

care, believe, satisfacti for on and accomplishment
---
intrinsic motivation
dont start on anything that does not inspire you.
---
Get going only on projects and activity that truly matter to you.
---
Give yourself permission to get picky.
---
Its highly proficient way to finish what you start.

Technique #2 Gamify
Human race isnt very good at dealign with delayed gratification
This isnt anything to be ashamed of.
We simply do not have limitless willpower so we cant go on
forever without rewards for hardwork and persistence.
---
The people who make the worlds most populsar video games  know this.
---
Every time you get to a new level, you are rewarded with more
points, new equipment or an awesome new super power
---
Use this principle in your life.
---
Gamify your project and activities to gaurantee completion.
---
when you do this, quitting will be farhest hing from your mind.
You will be energized and motivated to keep going even when you
hit major obstacles and challenges.
---
=> **********early morning office work *********
---3 hours , 2 hohrs, 1 hour
---
fail at perfection
======
Perfection is the enemy of completion.
if you are focused on getting everything 100% perfect.
you will get nothing done.
This is undeniable fact.
---
you will stuck in frustrating cycle of going through every detail
again and again  because its not where you want it to be"
or "it not up to standard"
---
Meanwhile your big projects remain unfinished.
Your gaols  and dreams remain out of reach.
---
dont fall into this trap.
---
Look at your project and prioritize the task or
steps that make a difference to the overall result.
Focus on the aspects that will create success and then
let go of the rest.
---
Think about outsourcing or delegating elements that
are not important. Give yourself - and others
permission to make mistake

#Get Real
We hae limited resources
time, energy, focus, money, attention
wehen we dont take these limits into account.
we are setting ourselves up for incompletion and
failure.
---
Before you start on your project,
get out a pieceof paper and list out everything your are going to need to get it done.
----
Estimate the amount of time, energy and money
that its goin to take.
---
Then look at your calendar and your bank account
and start budgeting.
---
When you get real in this way, you will have a
clear understanding on what its actually
going to take to get to the end of what you begin
--
you wont run out of time, money, or energy without
warning.
There will be few if any nasty surprise or curve balls
---

the bucket list, todo list, grocery list
we want to get things done. we want to move forward.
We want to achieve our goals.
We want to win.
And mastering the art of completion with these
proven completion techniques will help you
do all the that and more.
